Musings on the plan of eating for fun and enjoyment for 2013!!!!
Truth is Beauty; found an interesting divine creator named Ramanathan Iyer, experiementing with his version of Raw called the Paradise Diet. Basically, listen to your body and have fun with eating this way.
You divide Raw Vegan into 3 spheres which are: 1.leafy greens/veg 2. fruits and 3. nut and seeds with preference on nuts/seeds fresh out of their shell. Do not combine any sphere and eat when hungry and what tastes good, and no processing - remember Rama is promoting enjoyment, if you don't like something don't eat it...but you need all 3 groups... I am going to be adding my home-made Kefir I make with Kefir grains - dairy Kefir, organic cow or goat milk which I have been drinking previously. And guess what - I have had my best year yet in winter cold/flu season....and I have a suspicion it is the Kefir I drink everyday 2 cups.....so I want to keep that in my diet, and even though Rama does not enjoy Dairy or Fermented (too processed) foods he is wise in saying heh! that is what I think is ultimately healthy for humans, but do what your body tells you!
I will be looking at eating Romaine for a meal, just the heads, no chopping or dressing and I know a small meal of low GI Fruit in the early afternoon might be nice, and then either a Kefir-chia seed pudding or some nuts in the evening.
I tell you, I still eat meat - but lately my desire for animal flesh cooked has really gone away....it might be that this expanded awareness that has come over me really intensely shifting with momentum in December last year (2012) and further growing, has made me realize that I want to make choices in how I live more consciously, with balance and great intent. I know that eating meat is necessary for alot of climates that are not in constant supply of warm weather, but the philosophy of eating less or none is interesting to me, because I CAN choose.
